Thank You! They spend all this time online, bashing the game. For what? If you're not going to get it, why are you on the forums?

Well, I've seen at least two people, possibly more who admit openly that they're just there to stir stuff up. And those aren't the obvious trolls who simply post crap to get a rise from people. The others seem to be more building on all the negativity. They know they can get a pat on the back for making semi-rude comments couched in "it's my opinion" and it feeds their egos.

Oh yes and might I add....Ive seen so much false info from those forums from users who aren't even really in the mix. want legit info? Thesimsvip. From that i have lernt everything about the sims 4 so far, from face to face interviews, to legitement info. These people are just finding things to whine about, completely blind to the fact that a) they can't add everything from ts2 and 3 to the sims 4 and B) trying to add all of that stuff woul make the game lag big time see for yourself **** Please-do-not-promote-other-forums **** copy-content-here ****jforum/posts/list/759976.page
I hope this doesnt change anyone's opinion because half of this stuff, I had not even seen confirmed at all. I don't care about any of the things excluded, does matter to me. I hope it doesn't matter to any of you either

The thing about content exclusion is that it can be added later on. It's like people forget this.

Exactly. When i say I am pumped for this game no matter what?! OMG if you put ur hand on my skin you can feel little jitters! I'm ready for this game. I know this game won't be a flop because if anything EA has been doing their homework for a while on this game. This game has been in progress for, wow....i think a long while. I forgot but I think over 2 or 3 years

I'm really excited two. I have been planning so much for the Demo! The Demo! I c]didn't get it for beta but I can't wait for public release. It's just really annoying when those negative people compare it to the older games. Obviously those are filled with Patches, EPs and SPs. This is a new game. I can't even imagine The Sims 4 in the future with EPs and stuff.

Yes, that list is majorly padded. It's like they got together on that thread and posted everything they could think of that they wanted in the game and then started marking off what wasn't included. Did it get added in a TS2 expansion pack? Then, of course, it should be included in the base game because it was patched into the game with the expansion. And, as I mentioned upthread, some things aren't verified confirmed, just verified rumors or based on the fact that the gurus won't confirm that they're included (if the guru won't tell us, then obviously, the item isn't being included).

I'm not sure what it was like but I imagine something similar occurred when The Sims 2 and 3 base games were coming out.

I never spent time on the forums for them so everything I've heard is second hand and it depends on who you talk to. People who hate how TS4 looks ignore the 1 to 2 transition and say that there was hardly any uproar about 3 until after the game was released and everyone found out how buggy it was. People who like the game or those who are, I suspect, a little more objective, say that the transition from 2 to 3 was almost as volatile as this one and I've seen a couple of people admit to getting into arguments over the transition to 3, so I'm inclined to believe that with almost every base game release, there are battle lines drawn. Heck, a few people even mentioned that with the EPs for TS3 there were battles going on because people wanted different things released first.

I get people are unhappy and it is there right to feel that way but when they take it out on an innocent person just because they don't feel the same way as them it's just wrong. People seem to be belittling people to try and get them to change their mind.

I really do have to agree. For some reason I've gone back to look out of sheer boredom or curiosity and have regretted it every single time. I've been on a few official forums but never have I seen one this toxic before. Not just the rude and harassing comments but when someone tries to create a thread where they can try and safely talk about the game in a positive light it's like a target symbol to probably the worst offenders. What seems to be a lack of any real moderation on the official forums doesn't help either. I'm really glad this forum exists.

I'm fairly confident they'll be bringing toddlers back and adding preteens, at least. I suspect it's one of the first things they'll be working on. I'm guessing they'll release an EP similar to generations but I'm also hoping/wondering if they'll patch the basic life stages for each into the game, as well, for those who don't want to purchase the EP.

Wow it is so nice to be able to talk about sims 4 and be excited about it without all the hate.
