I am going over this list and I have to say it is harder than the list from before. There is so much added to the game and I can't think of every thing to add. I did organize some things to make them easier to find.

New features to the series:

Create a Sim:

Ability to change the size and shape of just about any Sim body part/area
The bro trait
Hats can be used with any hair style
Boots go over pants leg
Note: Should be under too
Walk styles
Note: Aspirations now have specific traits attached to them.
Note: Children can now have Aspirations specific to them.
All clothing will be available for any category
Note: Sims can have five outfits now instead of three per category
Note: Improved filters and a search function
Note: Improved randomization function

Pregnancy and Babies:
No limits on pregnancy outfits
Note: Should say any outfit can be worn as maternity wear.

Note: There is no longer music signifying a Sims is pregnant. Sims also don't get the pregnancy moodlet until after they take the test.
Unexpected pregnancy lengths
Maternity leave is not mandatory
Pregnancy comes in different shapes and sizes depending on your Sim's body type

Note: Sims can have the babies at home or in the hospital

From "manage worlds" you can go in and build on any lot, regardless of whether or not there is a sim family there in residence

Before I do though I have a couple of questions:

Wasn't this possible in Sims 3 as well? Or did that feature come in an expansion pack?

I think the person who suggested more realistic bills meant the way they were calculated made more sense which would be different from bigger detriments to not paying your bills. Although you are correct; I should just put "Improved bills" and list a couple of examples. Good catch.

I should find the posts pertaining to this because there was some discussion and I had to change this entry a few times as people kept clarifying what they meant. If the discussion doesn't pan out I'll just remove this entry.

I think they meant there was more to getting promotions than in Sims 3. If I remember correctly for the most part in Sims 3 it was mostly just being in a good mood in a couple of other things you had to do; like so many friends and whatnot. They were saying it was more involved now in Sims 4. I should read up on this to see if it's really that much more involved than Sims 3 careers.

People in the thread were saying Sims 2 was the last game to have this feature. I should check on this.

I'm sure I read somewhere that *every* career now has things you *have* to do outside work to get promoted.

Can they hold them or feed them or change their diapers?

I'm not finding woodcrafting/carpentry in the list? Is it there?

Those are some good questions. I should take SleepyD2k's advice and find out what these interactions are and list them.

I have it listed as wood working I think.

Sims could have babies at home and in the hospital too in The Sims 3 too. I added it because to have the baby at home, you need a bassinet otherwise, the Sim will have the baby at the hospital.

In The Sims 3, the open venues were the museum, the park, the gym, and a few others.

For careers you should put promotions have more requirements (friends, mood, emotions, tasks, skills)

@The book thief The ability to change stair size was in the build mode walkthough Graham did too.

The ability to move whole buildings IS on the list under the same section but it might be good to put those two together.

I think the way @SleepyD2k words the careers thing is better. Promotions require more active participation from the player to achieve (performing activities outside of work, choose the appropriate mood [can't just be a "good" mood], etc.).

The changing object size thing IS a cheat. I can't remember exactly what it's called (maybe Magnification? or something similar). There's some debate as to how sticky it is. It will NOT upload to the gallery at present, though, hopefully they'll fix that before the game ships. Someone mentioned that it didn't even save with the game when you saved it but I'm not sure where they heard that or if they just extrapolated that from the article that said objects won't doesn't upload to the gallery magnified.

"Reading Books to Children"
Wasn't this in the base game of TS3? I know reading books to toddlers was. What is it referencing? Bedtime stories?

Reading books to children was not a base game feature, it came with The Sims 3 Generations.

Alright, other than listing baby interactions I think I got everyone's suggestions in. Let me know if I missed anything.
