Adoption?

People on that other forum keep saying that adoption isn't in the game. I have the impression that it's based on someone saying that they hadn't seen the option to adopt during the Creators Camp, but maybe it just works differently than it did? There were Simgurus talking about adoption being in the game as recently as late June - http://simsvip.com/2014/06/23/the-sims-4-tidbits-about-adoption-from-simgurugrant/ - so it seems unlikely to me that it got cut. Has the no-adoption been confirmed? Or is it really just a rumour?

Right now there is no confirmation on wether or not adoption is out of the game. For all we know the person who was playing the game maybe missed it or maybe they saw it but just didn't know cause it could be called something else

Sounds to me from those Tweets that adoption will be in the game.

Adoption is in the game. This came from someone that went to the camp and is sharing their information on the main boards.
