First item up for debate is : Do You Think Adventure Time Is Getting Too Mature? If so is it good or bad?

*narrows eyes*

I only watched it a couple of times to make sure it was OK for my pre-teen. Just went to him and asked him if it has become more mature and what the last episode was about. He's a pretty honest kid. He said it's not mature and then proceeded to make my eyes cross while telling me about their wizard bus finding something or other adventure.

Now I'm going to have to watch this show again.

Anybody have some Pepto? Dramine? A stiff drink? Oooo....maybe I could force dad to watch it. HEHEHE.

its a very unique show. It isn't like most cartoons it has large adult fanbase

Ah! Haven't actually seen it, all I know so far (from friends) is "UNACCEPTABLE!!!".

Ahh, I love this show! I know a new season started, but unfortunately the cable had to go as it was just too much and I couldn't justify keeping it. But yea this show is pretty entertaining, but some of the art work in it freaks me out sometimes lol. I'm a bad mom though and let my kids watch it

i saw someone make a marceline sim lol.. i cant say it was very good though. wonder if anyone tried to make finn or PB.

You might want to avoid drinking or drugs since it could inadvertently make you think it's a deep show, somehow. It's one show I intensely dislike. Courage the Cowardly Dog would be another. I've never been much into surrealism and these shows both seem pretty heavy-handed with it.

I enjoy the show and have watched since the beginning. The current season has been a little bit heavier than the past but it still keeps it's light hearted feel. Such as the season opener Finn's arm was removed from his body because his cursed plant sword encase it and when he tried to rescue his dad it was torn apart because his dad became was a criminal. And then there was the episode where Jake was driven crazy with the need to spend money and tried to force a couple to eat gold coins.


But you also have to remember it is considered TV-PG.

The breezy ep really had me thinking after i saw it

True, the Breezy episode had more of a darker not sure if it's appropriate for children feel to it. But it's also an episode that could be skipped if it bothered parents only it might be hard to explain why Finn got his arm back, even I had to watch a couple times.

One episode the one where Finn had dreams about Flame Princess made me question that this is for children??
Anyway I like Marceline/Simon those episodes have such feels I want a show devoted to them
Other faves are Flame Princess and Lemongrab that last Lemon episode hurt my brain though I love weird but it was just too much.

I saw an episode about the vampire chick. Her ex got the kid(Finn , I think) to go into her head and get rid of something , saying if he didn't the vampire girl would be asleep forever. And when Fin found it , it was the memory of her and the ex's breakup .
And Fin somehow restored the Vampire chicks memory , and she punched her ex when he told her to make him a samwhich.

adventure time is an interesting show... but i wonder what happened to all the humans in the show.. and how is finn the only one? besides i think susan... i know there was a war but how did finn survive if all the others died?

also the reason the land of oooo is soo weird is cus of mutations... from the nuclear war (the mushroom war)
i really dont think thats right for a kids show eaither lol.

lol? why did someone disagree with me? its 100% fact that adventure time takes place after a nuclear war which they refer to as the mushroom war multiple times.. unless its the fact i said thats not fitting for a kids show...
