Digital download available early?

    I'm getting the digital download from origin. I keep hearing people say that they get to play at 11pm? Is this true? Only for the digital downloaders?

    It starts at 12 am eastern time in the US. So it is 11pm Central and 9pm Pacific. Go based off your time zone, but as soon as it hits am eastern time, Sims 4 should be open in the US at least.

    That's when the game fully unlocks, and is playable. Pre-download is like cutting in waiting line.

    Yeah I get that but I just determined above that I was in the timeline that made it playable for me at 12am. I'm not complaining if it works at 9pm just confused lol

    It's adapted to your local time, so basically like this:

    - Sept. 2nd @ 12AM for Eastern Time
    - Sept. 1st @ 11PM for Central Time (my time zone)
    - Sept. 1st @ 10PM Mountain Time
    - Sept. 1st @ 9PM Pacific Time

    Everyone's able to play the game at the exact same time for North America, Central Asia and Russia. The actual release date doesn't make much sense to me but whatever! TS4 is finally here!!!

    EDIT: Oh wait, took me a while to see your post thoroughly, yeah that is odd... well, nothing to grumble about, you get early access haha

    EDIT2: Is your PC time correct? I just noticed Origin actively reads your PC time.
