Hey Guys, It's me Rachel I'm 22, Dyslexic & i am from the East Midlands in England. So, what can i tell you about myself? Well i am a third year student from the University Of Lincoln, I am studying Documentary Production. My current project is a documentary based around the comment "Do violent video games make the player violent?" Going pretty well i think :p , I am a part-time Youtuber (most of the time i am stuck doing Uni work) i love creating videos for youtube even though i am talking to myself :p but it's a nice little time machine thing ^^; & also i am addicted to video making so Youtube is kinda my fix so to speak

What can i tell you about my simming life? Well i first started playing The Sims around Feb 2002, we got the game mainly for my brother for his 6th birthday. He seemed to of enjoyed it for a little while but moved on to other things so it was my chance to "steal it" away from him. The very first family that i played was The Goths (Oh & did i mention i got the game on PS2?) So...i had quite the introduction to The Goths, The Goths where interesting at the start but soon they got really annoying, reasons being is cause there was a graveyard at the back of their house & they always wanted to walk out & cry, every waking hour- Mortimer, Bella & young Cassandra would go into that garden & cry. I had no choice but to delete the whole grave stones there *phew* silence finally! So i continued playing then one morning to my horror i sent Mortimer to the kitchen to make breakfast for the whole family but then all of a sudden...everything caught on fire & so did he, me being ten years old at the time & never experiencing any of this before, i found it quite terrifying! I could find a way to stop it, i couldn't quite or anything, i remember getting a series of pop up messages saying "You can't quit there is a fire" or something...not the exact words! But yes...after that & to this day i can never trust Mortimer Goth with the cooking, even if he's fully skilled.

So, that's my story! Its really nice to meet you all!

Welcome to the forums Rachel! Glad to see you here. Lol, I had that same problem with playing The Goths. Actually, I was scared to play their house at first cause I knew you could be scared to death and I did not want that there.

Yeah I think I read it in TS2 where you can be scared to death if your motives were so low at a certain level. Glad they changed it up in TS3, but they hardly react to ghosts of loved ones anymore.

Nope it wasn't an add on...maybe a rare death. Here is an video. If you don't want to sit thru it all go to 3:42 and you'd see it soon after.

And I have no idea what is so eww about them. My sims just don't react at all lol.
