Hello, New to the Board

Hello everyone I'm new to the Sims 4 forum, I was on Sims 3 forum s but got lost in the shuffle. Ppl had been on there and formed relationships with other simmers so I'm excited to get to know my fellow simmers I have already had the pleasure of meeting a few simmers who must forgive me because it may take me a minute to get you guys name down. One special simmer will be proud of me my first Thread!!! I hope everyone is enjoying the free gift from EA celebrating their 14 Anniversary. I hope you keep posting, there are a lot of things here, including tips on where to get custom content, if you aren't familiar with those we'll help you through it, it's our job to help the new simmers

Yay thank you so much! Now I finally feel like I belong to the Sims community. I have a lot to learn but I have so much fun playing. I haven't done any Cc too scared but yes that would be nice to learn more about them and Mods. Oh yeah forgot to say got carried away with the discounts today Lol purchased University and Ambitions! Good deals I think it was $14 for Uni and $9 for Ambitions I pretty much have all that I want so Yay again can't wait until my free content shows up takes 72 hours they EA said because of technical issues.

I see you got Island Paradise haven't played yet but some say it's real Buggy. I love Roaring Heights it is def buggy and lags which I hate because I love the world, Clothes and hair.

Ahah I had the same problem earlier with Island Paradise, but then I updated to the new version and it's fine now. I had some issues with Roaring Heights and Midnight Hollow, but there are fixes out there for them... Just gotta know where to look
I don't use mods, in my opinion they make the game lag more than usual, and I got rid of all my CC (except the patterns, got those back) because of it as well, but that just happened because I have almost all the Expansions and Stuff Packs, so it's a lot to load, you only have a few (I guess), so there shouldn't be a problem ^^
Besides, I think all the new Expansion packs, as well as the SP's, have such great new content that you don't really need CC, but hey, that's just me xD

Great I really didn't want to use any Cc or Mods but I'm desperate for my Roaring Heights to play right you have to share your secret Lol. I have a nice amount of content now. I have everything except WA, Pets and Into the future oh and Supernatural. I have most of the SP too so my content is def growing. I much rather purchase my content that way I know it's safe and you're right it's so much to choose from I don't feel like I need it the only reason I was considering it was because my game was lagging. RH is the only world I've purchased except the free world and right now I'm good with that. What do you think is going to happen when Sims 4 comes and the store closes since technically we don't own the content which sucks all of the money I'm spending LOL. They wouldn't take our stuff would they?? Maybe stupid questions but I've wondered about that. Another thing the Sims 3 store won't be available after awhile that's another reason I purchase more content but I don't want to keep spending money but on the other side I love shopping for my sims it makes me feel like I'm shopping for myself.

Ahahah no, the content you purchased will be yours no matter what, it's in your PC, so it's safe. As for the fix for RH I'll have to look for it xD I went to my Mods folder and realized I only had one for Midnight Hollow --,

I just purchased WA the other day but have not played it yet and have not played Island Paradise but I wanted the content and wanted to download curtis paradis house so that I could have most of the content so I'm happy!
