USA Pre-Orders Chart.

They never list their sources. VGCHartz is unreliable.

Yeah, according to our unreliable but only-game-in-town VGChartz, the pre-order numbers have been steadily climbing. And last week, they showed an increase in the weekly change compared to the previous weeks which were always around 1700 to 1800. Last week, they showed 2300 or so sales. We won't know for sure until the game's released, of course, but compared to other pc games that have been released previously, their numbers seem to be pretty consistent with pc pre-orders in general for known franchises.

I want the game to do well because then they will keep making it. Beyond that I am uncertain how important these numbers are. I plan to buy but I don't know for sure when I will put in my order. I will probably pre-order a few days before release. That way I can decide at the last minute whether I want to go with digital download or disk copy.
