Very nice review on loading screens and public spaces. They really laid it out in simple terms so that I really feel like I understand how it works now. I agree with the reviewer to! I'd much rather have faster loading screens than taking an hour to load one space, then another 30 minutes just to render it for there to only be 4 sims total including my own haha!

Don't worry about the neighborhood, I play a lot of very small worlds in Sims 3 and love them. The neighborhoods in Sims 4 are really nice and a lot of things going on. You will find more people around. I love how other sims come on there own come up to talk to you. . It was nice to see other sims in the demo just come up to the sim and talk. I like that. And you can fill the houses with a lot of your own sims.

I really couldn't care less about loading screens if that means the rest of the game actually runs smoothly and looks great, without huge open world hassle.

I agree. I love the sims 3 but sometimes I dont even want to play because of the lag.

Exactly! I hardly ever play TS3, even though I spent a lot of money on it.

I can't get over the graphics. So cool...can't wait to see all the sims wandering around in lots...I don't mind loading screens, I always hated driving across town in sims 3. Worried about the lots and world being small.

I'm on board with loading screens completely. On the sims 3 my old laptop could hardly run it at all, it would lag so much, and I hardly played it. Now I use my boyfriend's laptop, and ts3 runs great, it loads a little bit quicker, but I don't mind loading, whenever my game is loading on ts3 I go downstairs to get a drink, or I might stand up and stretch a little, especially if i've been playing for a long time. So I really don't mind, just think of it this way, wait roughly 10-15 seconds, and you get a lot that's full of sims? Heck yeah! All for it!

That's the thing I liked with sims 2. Sims randomly spawn on the lot you are on, but when the world is open like in TS3, sims don't go where you want them to

I love how they've put it like a mix of ts2 and ts3, it's a partially closed world, but you actually have a small neighbourhood that you live in, which I've always liked the idea of, and for some reason, I've always wanted that ^^. And you can see things going on around your house, like sims having a conversation in the middle of the street or going for a jog etc. It's just so nice.

I am so excited for the Sims 4, I love everything that I have seen, the graphics are beautiful, the sims have finally come to life. they look amazing, I can't wait to play.

Good points! Makes me feel better that even though the neighborhoods might be smaller, it will make up for it with more people and more interesting game play. Thanks for pointing that out

And don't forget that for the first time the neighbourhoods are perfectly rendered. We won't see any textures loading and things gradually getting more definition. It will be eye-candy!

YES, PLEASE! I hated going to a park or someplace scenic and there's NO ONE around. Borrrinngg.
