Did anyone actually think they had the game?

Seems a bit of a silly thing to think, considering it's not out until September.

Yeah, she mentions in that article that a nasty rumor got started about it. I think she even linked where it all began and she was setting the record straight. Sims 4 just seems to be so scandalous hahaha!

Ok editing for the 2nd time since it now seems to have deleted the post I initially left, very odd.

I can see where she links to Rachybop's picture, but I can't see anyone who has posted anything asking them if they have the game, let alone being nasty about it. I would be grateful if someone could link though

Haha!! Well my guess is, she didn't link it to the direct starter of the rumor to prevent an even bigger flame war. It seems that, ever since SimsVip has been back from creator's camp and releasing information, they've been under attack by some which say that their reviews haven't been truthful and essentially they've drunk the EA cool aid. I've seen more than 1 post from SimsVip talking about the hate that's been thrown their direction. Sims 4 just seems to have some all in a tizzy haha!

Fortunately our community know how to respect one another, regardless of our opinions on Sims 4. It actually makes me happy that I'm not a big game Youtuber or Builder haha!

Hmm. I did see some tweets early last week about this. I'm surprised people thought the campers still had the game. I think people overreact because they are so excited about the game coming out, especially since the demo isn't out for everyone yet.

Thats just barely the amount of bullsht that people willing to spit out to compromise their doubt. Scandalous, lol, for sure XD

Good or bad, one thing is for sure, Sims 4 is generating a ton of BUZZ and as they say in show business, there's no such thing as bad press haha!!

I saw this on MTS yesterday and how the whole rumor got started. The person starting it is named Alex and people jumped to the conclusion that is was SimsVIP.


I looked at the account of the rumor starter and rolled my eyes. Didn't have to go any further to know it was bogus.

I thought the screen where she tried to download it was funny and cute. Pity somebody had to try and turn that around.
