The pre-order club!

That is a concern of mine too, although that was not why I went with the disc version. It could still be a problem with us if you have to go through origin to register the game before you can play. The CAS demo has been nothing but glitch for me since the updates and they added about 4x the demo receivers. Hopefully they will have the glitches worked out in a few weeks time.

That's good to know, I was a little worried. I have to work release day and the closest store to my house is 45mins away

I'm not going to pre-order. I need to see some extensive gameplay before I make my decision. But I would like to buy a physical copy of the game, I guess I'm old fashioned...

I already posted in one of the other threads about this, but I'll post here as well lol. I've got the limited edition version of the Sims 4 on preorder over on Origin. Sadly, living in Scotland and all, I won't actually get to play the game until September 5th. But the few extra days of waiting means I can check out gameplay videos that I know people will upload onto Youtube. Any glaring bugs or unexpected extras (in the good way!), I'll be aware of before I dive right into the game myself

I think that since the digital copies can be downloaded starting two days early that it will take a lot of stress off the servers on release day. I believe people have said there's a small amount that still needs to be downloaded when it's released and then you're good to go so I'm not really expecting huge issues with it.

What kind of glitches are you getting? I haven't any problems at all with CAS, though I don't play it a ton right now. When they first released it, I would get kicked of the servers somewhat regularly every time they added a new batch of people but haven't had that happen in awhile.

I used to get kicked off the server too but since the update I haven't. However, I now have trouble minimizing the demo sometimes. I nearly had a heart attack when my library showed up empty until I closed out the game and restarted it. I've had overlapping music problems. The Cas music will play over Cas music when I open a new household--like I have two demos open at the same time. Loading time for the demo has lengthened and sometimes freezes. Sometimes switching from community gallery to library to home page takes several seconds like the screen has frozen. Comments I have entered for people's creations take extended periods of time to go through and sometimes not at all.

It seems the server might have some problems. I hope they fix that before game launch. I don't have any problems in mine, yet.

I'm glad the problem isn't prevalent. I've thought about installing and reinstalling but its just a demo and its not that serious so I'll just wait for the full game.

What a pita! I definitely hope they get that fixed, then. Would drive me nuts.

I pre-ordered The Sims 4 Premium Edition on mid-June at Amazon.ca. So I am ready and waiting. I dunno if the box will arriving at my home on Sept 2nd or could be little late? I dunno but I don't care.

I'm a member of the pre-order club now . I pre-ordered it in a local shop. But could it be that the Sims 4 is cheaper than the Sims 3? I bought the Sims 3 (normal edition) and it was the same amount of money as the Sims 4 limited edition.
