On one of the broadcasts or somewhere I read/heard them tell us that CC is fully compatible with the sims 4. Does that mean if I download something from the gallery with CC it won't mess with my game like previous years?

And that being said, is there a way for me to filter OUT CC on the gallery?? Like "only maxis content" or ..

So far some CC is unstable, but that is mostly because we just have the demo and it just updated and the tools are new. Once the full game is out and given it, more and more will probably be stable. There is no guarantee so as always, use caution. There is just a mod folder for it that allows it.

As for gallery, at least for sims, none of the cc transfer over. They probably made it that way as many people were afraid after the disaster with the exchange.

Oh I could have SWORN they said "fully compatible with CC" on the august 30th live play video, because she was talking about the lack of create a style.

Or maybe it was the YouTube that sims VIP posted from degligancy or something?

I think they just mean that the game allows cc....I am not too sure. All I know is that I tested it up and put some Disney sims with cc into my gallery and none of the cc came with them. All their outfits turned into white robes or underwear. xD

Yay! I don't want any CC. Just store items.

It would be nice that CC becomes stable and we can download it off the gallery...And hopefully without problems. I really liked the ombre hair :)

I love CC but I've had issues in the past. Loading issues. Not virus or anything. It inevitably causes the game to crash. And then I had to uninstall and reinstall.

CC is so great to me but also too much of it can be detrimental to my game's overall stability. :dead:
It's like my game has human requirements, eating too much (bad) food can be harmful after a while = downloading too much CC can be harmful my sims games after a while

I'm really hoping to avoid CC entirely, and I might just end up not using the Gallery if that makes it easier to avoid it. I hate the whole game of tracking down nonbehaving CC.

If anything I just really need more color/style choices for clothing to expand the variety in my game. Oh, and also mods as well that either change or remove some annoying things (such as that damn white outline hovering over things).

You might not be the only one, it's just a personal problem from what I've seen in videos.

Heck, if it ever gets to that point where no one create mods for it, I'll just get my hands dirty and do it myself.

I think maybe it could be toned down a little, but I never understood why people were are so adamantly against it. It's better than the alternative in TS2/3 where you you intend to click on an object (or sim) but end up accidentally clicking on a piece of furniture/lamp/etc.

It depends on the person and what they are looking. Like for me, it isn't so much the lack of items in general, but hair and clothing that I need to make some sims more accurate. I love details and accuracy, but others aren't as
    bothered by that.

I want to try making meshing myself when I can (I need to buy milkshape first as my trial expired).

So no, I think Sims 4 needs cc, but some people may want it for various reasons.

I can live the outlines (it makes it easier to see what I am clicking on, though wish it wasn't so bright). What I am more worried about is another incident like the doll.
