Okay It's Crunch Time! What Are Your Sim Plans?

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has responded! By all means keep it coming, I love to read how everyone is planning to play once they get in! It's so neat to see how different simmers are in their gaming style. I love it!

I'll definitely be bringing my demo Sims into the full CAS. Some really ought to be some other age group than YA, and lots could use a partial wardrobe makeover and more relatives.

Then I want to explore the worlds! Look at all the premades in them (mostly to decide which I might leave in the game at all), look in all the houses and venues. I like to remake worlds to my taste

Then I'll move one or two young Sims who I don't care about in the long term into a small house so that I can play with the UI, find out how the townie system controls work, and maybe try making a house from scratch.

I have no idea what kind of game I want to play to start! I'm tempted to try a Legacy challenge, just as a way to give me a focus. I do know that I want to try all the skills and all the careers!

Personally I CANNOT WAIT to start building! I just want to go NUTS with all the new intuitive tools!! And then I'm going to put my simself in and poke around the other features. And see what my future kids might look like with my sim of my fiancé. AND THEN NEVER SHOW HIM WHAT I HAVE DONE!!!! (Hisses and hides from the world)

HAHA Feather! Well make sure you share your amazing creations so that we can find your stuff in the gallery and download and favorite! I stink at creating sims but I think I have a pretty nice eye when it comes to decorating so I plan to share alot of the rooms I make OMG Can't wait!

• Any goals from the start or will you let your sim guide you? Half of them I will focus on getting up in there careers and the other Half I will focus on marrying them off and building a family

The post starts out with the host creasing a room and uploading it the gallery with the hashtag of like: S4FROOMCHALLENGE or maybe something shorter-- and then they find the room, download it into their world, and decorate/paint it.

There can be different rules for each round like:

Must use 2 pillars, or something like -create a "art studio" or "gym" or "library"


And you can't change the shape of the room but you can add doors

• Have you already picked out your sim? Nope. There's no point in pre-planing for me because I know when the hour comes I know I'm going to make something completely random and different from planned.
• Will you be playing with a family or a single sim? Single sim.
• Premade or one you created? I never use pre-mades if I can help it.
• Rags to Riches or MOTHERLODE your sims into luxury? Rag to riches. My cheating comes in form of keeping their desires up all the time for convenience, not necessarily for wealth.
• Which world do you think you'll start in? Haven't decided yet but I'm inclined to choose Spring Oasis... I prefer grass over sand. Not to mention I want to explore that secret grove!
• Taking your time or exploring everything on day 1? Something in-between.

• Any goals from the start or will you let your sim guide you? I have a small character biography that I want to explore, but like I said before, this plan may as well go to hell when I start playing.

• Any goals from the start or will you let your sim guide you? - Start a family, become comedian (female) and join professional sports career (male), die very rich and live until elder.

• Will you be playing with a family or a single sim? Well I'm playing two sims who are roommates, just friends. . . for now.

• Rags to Riches or MOTHERLODE your sims into luxury? I'm not sure, I'll probably start off as rags to riches, but might give in to motherlode.

• Which world do you think you'll start in? Willow Creek.

• Any goals from the start or will you let your sim guide you? I'll simply go with the flow. If I make plans I usually end up breaking them or start feeling bored of the restrictions I'm putting on my game.

Didn't get the demo , so nope.
I'm going to re create a family I had from TS2.
The mom is 'on disability' , so i'm going to use the kaching cheat with them

• Have you already picked out your sim? I haven't! I never could get my demo working properly (stupid llama) so I'll be making one from scratch.

• Premade or one you created? Created! Although I do like to tiddly bop around with premades, just to enjoy the creativity of the team.

• Rags to Riches or MOTHERLODE your sims into luxury? Today, right now...I say rags to riches. May have to edit this later. ._.

• Which world do you think you'll start in? I don't know anything about any of them (on purpose) so I have no clue!

• Taking your time or exploring everything on day 1? I'm a leisurely player. I like slow burning discoveries, so the former. However, I am buying the guide so...

• Planning on taking screen shots and posting them in a blog or your own site? My friends/SO are leeching my excitement so they want me to stream for them, so I likely will do that but not much else. We're considering having a Sims 4 party as well where we all play at my place or so. We all meaning the two of us that sim while the others watch Netflix or something.

• Any goals from the start or will you let your sim guide you? I'll let my sim be the guide.

Phew, it's been a while since I've been here! I can't wait till 8 pm rolls around! 2 more hours... >.<

Not quite... I've created multiple families already, one of which I'll definitely be playing SOMETIME. I was creating a sim earlier for when I play today but she got deleted when the demo randomly stopped working. It's not too bad though, seeing as I can recreate her as a better sim.

• Will you be playing with a family or a single sim?

When I start playing it, I'll be doing a single sim so I can get a good idea how the gameplay works before I start introducing more sims. Eventually I'll be playing a group of friends, so that'll be fun.

• Premade or one you created?

Oh definitely created. No offense to the people who made the premades, but I prefer custom.

• Rags to Riches or MOTHERLODE your sims into luxury?

I'll try out motherlode at some point with some other family, but for my first two its rags to riches baby.

• Which world do you think you'll start in?

I'm not sure! I like both equally.

Hm... I'll probably take my time, but I'm very interested in how the skills and everything else works out. I'll definitely be playing more artistic sims first.

I might someday start a sims 4 legacy challenge and post it on a blog, but otherwise I have no plans at the moment.

I have the basic goal with my first sim to start a family, but otherwise it's all on the fly!
