Fudge The Sims 4, Right Now!

Has had the bug were after you go to Live mode after building stuff the music gets all jumbled?? I have to exit the game entirely for it to get fixed..

Thank God i'm not the only one that noticed the creepy babies! It completely freaked me out. Did yours also have protruding lobster-like eyes?

Is any one else having problems with game. I barely built their house and found out that certain windows are all blacked out and glitches all over my screen like sims 3 had (still have yet to play), as well as my sims portraits blacked out...

It's your fault that you did not save. Why did you wait for over 2 hours? that is hilarious you complained.. and blame it on the game.. NOOO... it's you! SAVE IT OFTEN manually!

Being the devil's advocate here - I can't blame him too hard because the game was promoted on having an auto-save feature this time around. The problem is (and this needs confirmation) that the auto-save only seems to work in live mode. Technically speaking, build mode pauses the game, ergo the auto-save doesn't seem to register any progress that needs saving - which makes me believe that the whole thing is somehow connected with the Sim's internal clock, instead of real-time play.

It would have been nice if the devs had clarified this little detail. It would have also saved him 2 hours of lost work (as well as any other unfortunate people unaware of this), and we would have started taking precautions. The good news is that now we know and maybe the devs will do something about it.

Yea, I did read about the auto-save feature before release, and thought it would be implemented into the whole game (including/especially building mode), and your never really expecting your game to crash... When you get "into the zone" building a house, sometimes you cant help but to make a couple more changes before having to manual save... Just hope it doesn't happen as bad for anyone else. The worst part is having to go back and try to remember everything you did, especially seeing some of those really detailed houses.

Simple solution... save often. If you are really that dissatisfied with the game I believe there is a 90 day return policy in effect. I haven't had any problems, yet... but I saved fairly often yesterday when I played, for way to long. It will take a bit of getting used to the new style of playing but I've played since the first "The Sims" game came out and have never had any real problems.

Awww shoot... I hoped my sims I had made in the demo could be added to my game... Oh well, I get to go make some more! It's all good!

It got me too... I got really into the game and started like marathoning my sims to skill build and as soon as one of the sims mastered the cooking skill the game crashed. The last autosave was when I traveled (before I started making them skill build) so I'm thinking the game only autosaves when you travel? Any way, it was really frustrating but it was my own fault. I normally try to save every hour and I let time slip away from me this time. Almost makes me want to move on to another family.

I think I've lost progress due to the game crashing for pretty much every game series I play, console or PC. Every time it gets me. I think sims is the worst though, because there are so many variables and you can never perfectly recreate what you lost.

Can't rely on autosave, dudes and dudettes! It's Maxis' fault we experience lost progression due to a faulty auto-save feature they promoted.

I'm sorry to hear about the inconveniences. Just try to get into the habit of manual saving every now and then. It'll be hard, I know, but just hang in there until (of even IF) Maxis provides a fix!
