    Hey all!

I've never been a MASSIVE modder. Partially because I've no idea and partially because I'm absolutely useless at graphics.

However I found the ColourMagic program http://sims4forum.com/custom-content/sims-4-cas-recolor-tool.2/ and somehow through following a few links ended up attempting my first recolour with ColourMagic + SP4 and Photoshop.

Following linked tutorials I created my first "recolour". Thankfully I managed to recolour a dress WITHOUT REPLACING the dress in the game (I don't want to loose any options!) - so now I have a chance to get clothes exactly the colour I want without waiting for someone to release it - and trust me, if I can do it; anyone can! I followed the tutorial successfully and then gave it a go putting a pattern on a dress... have a look. Next up I want to try to re-create some of my favourite clothes. I don't think I'll ever reach the stage of creating unique clothing - my graphic design skills definitely aren't up to that - but for recolouring this is as close to the Create a Style I'll get at this stage - and just not as easy LOL :p As you can see the colour swatch still just appears as "purple" but at least it didn't replace the purple dress!

Managed to make an Abercrombie and Fitch top (my favourite) - isn't ideal but I did do it quickly. I also worked out if I know what colours will be in it prior to actually making it the swatch can reflect that (see it has two colours)... :)

Finally for now.. a topshop-esque Beyonce top!
With a bit more practice these actually might look download-able!!

Ok this really IS final - I just got carried away (and should probably have had this all in one thread? Sorry) - I like this one inspired by the hashtag Sims 4 Promo Trailer we got before the game was launched. I accidently made it for a child though... but maybe that's more appropriate... lol . If you'd like any of these for your games just let me know :D

What is SP4? Is it hard to use?

Looking good @mattytude Might need to try this program out and do some recolouring for myself, it definitely seems easier than I've known it to be before.
