Bug? Trying to play a household

I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I click on a household to play them and it tells me to select which sim to play so I do (which I've never seen that before but okay) then it takes me to the neighborhood but not the correct neighborhood that that household is in. And it says they are not here right now so I can't play them. Then I move them out and put them in the same exact lot and it lets me click on them and play them normally but they disappear and it says that they're not here. That's a lot and I think it's very confusing lol

Yes, it's a bug, I found a workaround by switching to another sim which is at home. The game eill switch lots and you find all your sims there.

No, switch to a different sim in the same household. You click on their picture and select "switch view to this sim" or something. Sorry, I can't remember the exact words...

Oh it wouldn't let me do that. They were all unselectable. I just started a new save file and it didn't do it again.

You have to click on the corner of their picture for the options to appear, I guess...
