Where to find ghosts?

I can't seem to find any! (And yes, my game patched )
Is there a certain time when they show up?
Are they meant to be all over?

Has anyone seen any yet?

If it's anything like the last incarnations, someone would have to die on the lot, I would think...

I've seen people make ghosts and that isn't even an option for me. It says my version is updated correctly but still not having any idea or where the option is to make a ghost? Anyone have ideas or can help?

I been wondering as well. I had a sim die recently when I was playing another lot, but can't find the tomb or urn or seen any ghost. It's been over the three day wait like I heard, so I been wondering where the ghosts are at.

ok well i killed off a male sim and did find the urn after the grim reaper came. Clicked it and put it in the yard as a tomb. I wanted to see the ghost, which i found out if I would of mourned, I would of got one however, I clicked "put this sim in the netherworld" and didn't realize that meant he would leave forever and I got no ghost lol...soooo now in the process of killing off another sim to see how this works...will let u know. Also this gave me the idea to have a 'black widow' storyline and have a yard full of tombs

You can't make a ghost from scratch, from what I know. However, if you have a ghost in your game and invite it into your family, you can then edit the family in CaS, remove live members, edit the ghosts appearance etc. and then save it as a ghost only family to play or upload to the gallery.

My first and so far only a ghost. The father died, and when the tombstone was in the grounds, he appeared to hang around the house sometimes Other ghosts that I have not yet seen

Guess I will wait for one of my sims to die!
