So with the new patch bringing ghosts in, I found myself pretty infatuated with the blazing ghosts that went down in flames in their previous life. However, it seemed impossible for me to actually kill a sim by fire.
My first attempt resulted in a maxed cooking skill and a lot of burgers.

I would like to note that if you have any sort of fire alarms in your house your sims can start a fire immediately, but obviously it will just get put out by the sprinklers. -_-

So anyway I realized that wasn't going to work, so I did a little digging around and stumbled upon this cheat:

    stats.set_skill_level AdultMajor_HomestyleCooking 1

So I put my sim in front of the stove and used this cheat after every time she scrambled some eggs so her skill in cooking would go back to 1. The result? After three tries, she was a crispy piece of delicious sim toast. >______>

The fact that Fable is surrounded by grilled food kind of negates the dramatic-ness of this image.

I set zeth (her demon slave sort of thing) on fire too. Since he was in the vicinity... mwuahaha.

So yeah. About 3-ish days later, I had this:

The other grave was some girl who died by starvation. I released her soul into the netherworld so she's gone fo eva.

So yeah. If you are trying to kill a sim by fire, that cheat may work for you when nothing else will. If you aren't trying to set your sim on fire, they will probably die in one the next time they cook because that's just how the sims is. -___-

Lol, gl and let me know how this works for you if you try it.

I hear so many stories of people trying to kill off sims from rocket crash (another form of death by fire), too hilarious how they describe the sim walking away unscathed.

I'm not big on sim-icide, since it's "the hard way of doing things", although undoubtedly a fun one

... but ya, somehow Cassandra Goth got in my family's backyard and was grilling dogs... I didn't know until my sims' pending woohoo was interrupted by a fire...

I found Cassandra at the barbecue burning like a tiki torch, apparently trying to finish the dish, while another was hitting it with an extinguisher. The barbecue went out, but Cassie didn't.
I thought she was done for, but she walked burning to the bathroom, HAPPY.
The flames went out before she hit the toilet, and she was fine.
WHY CAN'T I LIVE LIKE THIS?

Yeah, if you have a certain Mischief level you can sabotage rockets as well as do Rocket Racing. There's a chance your sim's rocket will crash from racing.

It may also help to do it when the sim is extremely tired (like in the red). I did this with a level 3 cook on a cheap stove and it took 3 dishes but she went up in flames pretty quickly. Now her sister is good friends with the grim reaper and I'm waiting on my ghost.

Yeah. Although my sim passed out multiple times while grilling her way to max cooking and not dying (she was tired the whole time lol, i thought of that as well) but yeah didn't help her. D: I wish starting fires was easier though, I used to kill off sims by fire all the time.
