Help! TS4 Game is continuously crashing! :(

I am playing my game for about 15 min, and it crashes. I have tried a few things, and nothing is working. I have tried to play offline, online. I heard laptop mode is bad to play on so I do not play on it, although I am on a laptop. I have mods(they are all working and created by trusted mod creators) I also have some CC, but I don't think it is any of that, I seem to be sorting thru it alot. If anyone else is having this problem and found a solution or anyone who has a solution or another idea of how to fix this, it would be muchly appreciated.

Plus if you want my dxdiag file, just ask.

Hey, it is possible that one piece of CC is doing this to your game.
It happened to me too, it was a dress or something, and whenever someone would show up on my lot wearing it, the game would crash!
I'd suggest taking all of your CC out of your mods folder (copy it somewhere else so you have it later) and test your game.
I have a feeling it'll run pretty smoothly, and if it does you can slowly start adding in your CC again.
When it happened to me, I just removed everything I had downloaded that week.

It's also possible one of your mods clash because of the latest game patch, they always suggest to remove your mods while patching!

I also think cc´s are the problem. In sims 4, random generated townies sometimes are using cc. So, you might not notice, but at some point a townie with the faulty cc is showing up and the game crash. If you have a lot cc´s its a pain in the behind. I always restrict myself to few cc´s, be more careful with scripted mods. Without cc´s I would not play the sims.

Thank you Meline and tc62, I knew it had to be CC, I just didn't want to believe it, haha. I usually have a feeling of what cc it is, and I think it's a furniture set. (Which I really like- that is why I havn't deleted it yet haha). I will let you all know what CC it is when I find it, to save anyone the hassle of going thru this.

I removed all my CC and Mods, and slowly but surely put one folder back in at a time. I found that everytime my girl switched into everyday wear, that is when the game crashed. So I figured out it was a measly earring that was corrupting my game. I took it out and my game runs like new again....so far anyways. If I find any more BAD CC then I will update this post with it. The BAD CC I found was earrings by NataliS and they were called Pearl with Diamond Earings. They look like this. >>

Well done, there is nothing more annoying than a game crashing. I wonder if there are any difference in the reliability of the cc´s on the various sites where you can download stuff. With sims 3 I downloaded stuff from many sites, but mainly Mod the Sims. Only a few times the downloads were faulty - I suspect that a scripted cc in fact damaged my PC, but I can´t say for sure, my Pc reported an error in XLM and couldn't start up again. Now with sims 4 I only download stuff like clothing, hair and furniture.
Nearly all - thats maybe 20-30 - cc¨s I use in sims 4, I found at TSR (The Sims Resource). They have a lot of stunning hair for females. The only error I had were some nice shoes, that didn´t show up right. It´s a big part of playing sims to find cc´s you like and use them in the game to bring a little new life in the game, I think. And there are a lot of talented people out there, who are willing to use a lot of time to create things for us to enjoy.
