Sim Doctor leaves work early, can't progress.

I set my alien sim on the path of the Doctor Career (it's awesome so far except for this part.)

About an hour after my sim arrives at work, the sim doctor on call will random change into her everyday clothes and walk out the clinic. And I can not finish the progress bar for "Transfer patient case" or "give medication to patient" as I assume the doctor is the catalyst for the progression of these "missions". And then I can't get the gold completion because of this issue. Is this happening for anyone else?

Am still trying out the new Careers so don't really know plus this maybe a game bug that slipped E.A when they test the game before putting it on sale

Yeah... I seemed to have fixed it. Or this is my fix at least.

I had to actually get my sim to introduce themselves and start a conversation with Doctor AND then the doctor stayed the duration.

Then had another issue where Sim wasn't properly carrying out the action of transferring patient cases to where I had to do a random social interaction with doctor AND then "transfer patient case".

Otherwise the "transfer patient case" interaction would cancel itself out if I didn't do it that way. lol it's very particular.

Maybe its because your sim is an alien

The same thing is happening to me! My sims is currently the 'medical assistant' level of the doctor career (I think level 3) and the doctor sim just walks out. I can't finish the progress bar with 'transfer patient case' and when the doctor is there in the morning, the action cancels itself out, like you said. That's interesting that if you talk to them before they leave they stay. I'll have to try that!

My sim is not an alien, so it isn't just because of that.
