Game goes back to world selection when pressing "Play"

Hi!

I have done a little research on the internet, but no one seems to have a problems like this aywhere.

Ok, so I select a saved game, click on my lot and press Play. The game loads, but when it's done loading, I'm back to the world selection (Willow Creek, Oasis Springs and Newcrest shows up). I haven't downloaded any mods, package files or anything, and I only have the starter game. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

It does that for everyone. You then have to click on the household you want to play, meaning click the one you saved and it will start from wherever you saved it at :

But that's exactly what I'm doing, I'm clicking at the house hold! I have played Sims 4 since it came out and I've never had a problem like this before.

Have you tried to REPAIR GAME in Origin yet?

How long has it been doing this?
Try a REPAIR, then return if it still isn't working.

ok what u might have to do is when u bring up origin, right click on the game....u will see the option to repair game....try that

The thing is that it works for my sister, but it doesn't work for me...! In any of my saved games! Or hers! And when she tried to start her game when I had the computer it didn't work for her either. And she doesn't do anything different from me, so I'm kinda confused

No I haven't, I'm to scared that something might get deleted lol

Don't be afraid to do a repair! It won't delete anything, updates cause trouble in that regard but not repairs.
I perform a REPAIR before I play, every time.

Clarawrr taught me about the repair and I now do it everyday and she's right.....it does work and does NOT delete any of your files
