TS4 Bundled

Does anyone recall when TS3 came out if there were any special offers such as, preorder the special edition pack and get the first expansion pack free or 2 for 1 on any expansion packs or something??

I think EA could benefit from one of these offers with TS4. The Sims has become a game which relies on its expansion packs to hit the game's true potential so I think it's only fair that we get some sort of discount on the first expansions.!? Not to mention all the bugs and glitches we will most likely find on release -.-

No, bonus packs like that don't come out till all the expansions are out or the series is ending. However there was a collectors edition in which you got plumbob jump drive.

So how long do you usually have to wait for an expansion to be released after the base game?

From looking at the release dates of expansions on TS3 it looks like about 6 months between each EP and with the exception of University to Island Paradise there is always a stuff pack in between the previous and next expansion.
