7 days until Island Paradise!!! Who is as excited as I am?

I am really excited for this next Sims 3 EP. Water, water everywhere!! I grew up in Florida and I love the water. I have been reading a litlle bit here and there about what this EP will add to the game. Mermaids should be interesting. When a new EP/SP comes out I don't like to read too much about it beforehand, I like to be suprised in the game. I know being able to build over the water will be a big plus. i am excited because even tho I cannot get it right away I want to watch youtube lets plays and stuff for entertainment.

I used to pre order all my EP's/SP's from Gamestop, but I am told they will no longer do PC preorders unless it a major title, I thought TS3 was/is a major title, not to GS I guess. So then I preordered from amazon the day it was available, but I just found out that I won't get 1 of the bonus packs unless I order from Origin. Sooooooo....I just cancelled the amazon order and pre ordered from Origin. I ALWAYS get the physical copy, so I won't be playing until July 1st or so waiting for it to come in the mail.

Compared to all the other major titles I wouldn't consider Sims to be all that major.

I haven't Pre-ordered this one, might not get it to be honest, it is all about saving up for a better gaming PC and the sims 4 my sister has pre-ordered hers, so will see how good it is then

I don't see the point in pre ordering IP, for what limited edition stuff isn't that great. Personally I'm going to wait and see if I win the laptop before I buy anything since IP is included.

I like how it looks and am really excited. Maybe I will get my hands on it at a friends house. I think the first thing I would do would be to look out for a mermaid. To become one lol

I agree, good luck on the laptop haha i have been looking around for my new Gaming PC, got my eye on a £900 its like 32GB RAM :O and 3TB HD and some decent graphics.. time to save up now lol

It is i love it, but it is a must to play such awesome games haha i doubt this PC i have no will cope with the sims 3 & the sims 4 lol, and thank you hunni

Yeah I feel the same with mine, and it bugs my I have to play on the lowest graphic settings.

Oh dear, that isn't good at all all my settings are on low apart from my sim detail that must be on the highest LOL cannot stand crappy blurry sims lol

I am also very excited about it. I didn't think I was going to be for IP, but after watching the demo, I really do want it. Whoever does get it on day one better post some screenshots!

Same here, I had it on lowest and could not stand it I think it is on medium now which still bugs me, but there isn't much I can do about it.

Me too, I'm currently in the scuba diver career with my new founder, but I want my next generation to own a resort.

i will be getting Island Paradise this weekend finally and i cannot wait! I had no idea there was a scuba career and i must try the resort. Iwonder how rich you can get off that?
