What Traits From Other Games Do You Wish The Sims 4 Will Have?

Personally I would like an expansion or option in the base game to go online and offline (not one or the other, but both). I don't want a train wreck like SimCity! ​

Also I mentioned this in another thread, but if there is a similar expansion to World Adventures I think it would be pretty cool if other Simmers could add in quests of their own creations for other Simmers to put on their game and play through. If you're familiar with Portal 2 I believe players can submit their own map creations for other players to play through in their own personal game. ​

I really want a Need For Speed kind of thing in Sims 4 *O*

I thought that happened when the Fast Lace SP came out, with all the racing cars and all... So disappointed

I'd like to see them racing each other just for the fun of it, and if they added pink slips, who am I to argue? B)

My game is full of racing cars that only take them to work and back... Such a waste :mellow: My Mitsubishi Evo VIII is sad for not racing around Moonlight Falls and smashing some zombies on it's way :lol:

And that too... My criminal sims when caught only stay in jail for a couple of hours... A few days would be kind of fun, and if their families could visit them there, all the better

i have two traits I'd like to steal from other games:

• i hope the graphics are as good as those in Guild Wars 2. i LOVE GW2 graphics, including how specific you can be designing your character.
• i'd love a larger map that includes city, country, and suburban lot options (both residential and commercial), maybe includes a beach and/or mountains, etc. the extra worlds are still fun for a change of scenery but it'd be nice if the base game came with more comprehensive choices. not WoW or GW2 large but maybe Runescape large. ok maybe not even that big, just bigger than they currently are.
  this is a piggy back on bullet 2 and not really based on another game but i wish city lots (â la the apartments in Bridgeport) were large enough for families and butlers. the high rise one-bedroom places and lofts were too restrictive and couldn't be expanded so family options were limited. heck, even the one mansion across the bridge with all the windows only had one bedroom - i put my superstar celebrity's poor butler in a room i built between the pool and the garage lol. good thing she never had kids!

That would be pretty cool, I probably would have liked the Fast Lane stuff a bit more if it had that.

I never really thought about jail with the kleptos and hackers, I would like that too, I hope EA reads these forums.

They should just get rid of rabbit holes completely I think they were kind of going that way with the Ambitions expansion pack, but I would be fine with kind of a hybrid for example in TS3 University Life when they went to their lectures they did things automatically but you could still watch them and have a minimal control over them. I think that would be pretty cool for jobs.

I wouldn't really describe RuneScape as a large world, because in TS3 you can just zoom out to the city view I would think it would be about the same size as the current worlds in TS3. More realistic apartments would be cool and ones you didn't just see the part your sim was occupying, and maybe even different grades for different income levels of sims.

I would love to see prison or jail in TS4. That's a fantastic idea! Unfortunately, I imagine they would make it a rabbit hole...but can you think of how fun it would be to play your sim while locked up? I'm laughing now from the idea.

I would hope it would be a hybrid of rabbit hole and controlling, kind of how TS3 University is when the sims go to lectures.

Medieval CAS functionality. It was just beautiful.

@Jamie, you took tha words right outta me mouth brattah. Anyway, we will be likely to see an vacaction pack. Since Sims 1,2 and 3 had it. So then will problably Sims 4 have it too. (The same with pets, and some other I dont remember now) I would like to see it better, bigger and BEAUTIFULLL ♥

I haven't played Medieval much, but I don't think I would want TS4 content to be look like Medieval's. I don't mean in the sense of style.

@Sour Dome: I'd also love that online and offline option. I never played simscity4, but I keep hearing about how terrible it was and thus decided not to try my luck with it. And as for something similar to World Adventures, what you suggested would be great. Although, I'd like a few more places to visit. Like London with Big Ben, Ireland with its Blarney Stone, Siberia with its cold and snow where you'd have to have your sim shovel up the snow to make a Quinsey(sp) or igloo... Or have the dogs be able to be in a group of 2-8 and pulling a sled and musher... Idiatrod? That would definitely need to have a Togo, Balto, Fritz huskies and I can't remember the others names... and of course Leonhard Seppala and I can't remember the other mushers names atm. And Scotland Yard would be pretty neat to explore as well as somewhere similar to Madagascar (they'd need to add the dog, Coton de Tulear along with any other animals there might be there.) Other possible considerations: Carthage, Ciudad Perdida, Troy, Skara Brae, Memphis, Caral, Babylon, Taxila, Sukhothai, Timgad, Mohenjo-daro, Great Zimbabwe, Hatra, Sanchi, Hattusa, Chan Chan, Mesa Verde, Persepolis, Leptis Magna, Urgench, Vijayanagara, Calakmul, Palmyra, Ctesiphon, Hvalsey, Ani, Palenque, Tiwanaku, Pompeii, Teotihuacan, Petra, Tikal, Angkor and/or Machu Picchu. I love lost (or once lost) cities >>;

@Cupcakes: A jail-system would be awesome. Especially if you can play the sims while they're in the jail. I still haven't watched OZ(I think thats what it was called), but for those who liked that and play the sims... they could make some fan-stories.

I think you are confusing SimCity 5 and SimCity 4, SC5 is the one everyone loves to hate not SC4. Maybe with the possible optional online in TS4 maybe people will be able to create their own travel destinations.
