Better Life Stages

I want their life stages to be smooth, I mean, you know, like when they have birthday and they are already teens!
I want them to have atleast 5 birthdays (and in that 5 yrs. they will grow up slowly) before they become a teen and so on... ^_^

Yeah, more lifestages with smoother transition. I'm in on this.

That would be wonderful! I thought about that too.
There should be at least a pre-teen phase... And maybe something in between the baby children and children.

I think, I'm not sure, but I think they mentioned something similar. Ages kind of included and another age step between adult and elder.

I would love to have the option to have a newborn in the family without having to pick toddler. I hated that whole process of trying for a baby, waiting on the baby, having the baby and remembering to turn of aging before the process. I would also love if you could change their faces, because the sim babies all looked like the same baby with different skin tones.

Babies all kind of look the same to me in reality, I would love different newborn clothes though.

Yeah, you've got a point there. The idea of more clothing for the infants would be great too. They shouldn't be wrapped up in a pink or blue blanket the whole time.

Because they go from a toddler to a child in a flash- and thats a major difference
it does say the Sims 4 is going to be 'smooth' so hopefully they consider this also !

yeah not stupid glitches like when my 3 kids are trying to sit at the table to do their homework, they stand around for about 2 sim hours doing that silly thing when they can't do what they want to do and then they start waving their hands around haha

It would be nice if they also included additional school opportunities with these life stages. Toddlers could go to daycare, instead of simply having a babysitter (and that could help with more interaction with other toddlers). I'd also like to see the high school students having a Prom (and that awkward moment of being asked or asking someone to go to prom with them).

Oh I hate that stalling thing! It's really bad with becoming pregnant too.

I think there is an interactive day care that came with Auroa Skies. As well as prom that came with Generations but, it's not interactive.

TS4 won't have babies wrapped in blankets and also in The Sims Freeplay (available for download on Android and Apple) the babies aren't wrapped in blankets.

Yeah, same here. Babies often look the same, I would like it if they aren't wrapped up in blankets like they were in sims 3 and wear different clothing and move around a bit. Babies were my least favorite life stage in sims 3 as they were kind of boring. All they did was cry. I get that's what babies do, but a burrito baby just crying is kind of creepy and annoying lol. At least in sims 2, from what I've seen, they had limbs. I kind of have custom content that gave them arms and legs and can move around a bit and have a few outfits they could wear.

Rethka-Really? I don't know much about what they said for the babies in sims 4, but that's a huge step forward in the game again.

As for other life stages, eh I don't mind them too much. I guess there can be a pre-teen in middle school, but that doesn't bother me much as they probably wouldn't be too much different.

What I really wish is that the base game includes some more stuff for them, like prom and the dress up. I didn't think Generations should of been a expansion pack, but part of the base game as aging and going through all the life stages is part of the game already.

Plumdrop-I can understand why they stall when they become pregnant, as the game is giving them new maternity clothing, but it does get annoying having to waiting and the clothing they pick is horrible a lot of the time. We should have an option to pick what they should wear instead,

Yeah, babies don't normally do much, but they can at least crawl around.
