Sims 4 Release Date to be announced at GDC 2014

    "The Sims 4" release date rumors suggest that it may be reveal this month.

    EA has previously announced that "The Sims 4" release date will be set for at some point this fall 2014. However, until now, EA has not made yet any update regarding a more specific "The Sims 4" release date.

    But recently, grapevines about The Sims 4 release date hinted that it may be announced during athe upcoming event called Game Developers Conference 2014, in which, the upcoming EA simulation game is going to be a part of, in form of classes and presentations.

    According to a post on The BitBag, which is entitled "SIMS 4 Official Release Date To Be Announced At Game Developers Conference On March 17," the GDC 2014 will present talks about several highly-anticipated game projects for this year, which include The Sims 4.

    Below are the details of the three scheduled presentations for GDC 2014 that will talk about the development of The Sims 4:

    Out of Sight, Out of Mind: Improving Visualization of AI Info
    Charles Gast | Senior Software Engineer, EA (Maxis)
    Bill Merrill | AI Lead, Turtle Rock Studios
    Mika Vehkala | Founder & AI Programmer, Gametec Consulting

    Date: Tuesday, March 18
    Time: 11:15am-12:15pm

    Concurrent Interactions in The Sims 4
    Peter Ingebretson | Senior Software Engineer, Electronic Arts (Maxis)
    Max Rebuschatis | Software Engineer III, Electronic Arts (Maxis)

    Date: Wednesday, March 19
    Time: 5:00pm-6:00pm

    Multi-Actor Behavior Sequencing in The Sims 4
    Brian Bell | Senior Software Engineer, Maxis

    Date: Friday, March 21
    Time: 2:30pm-3:30pm

    As for other news about The Sims 4, a post on SimsVIP stated that one of the most trusted online retailers, Amazon.com, has officially listed The Sims 4 Standard and Collector's Edition Prima Guides for pre-order. Previously, Prima Games confirmed that there will be both a physical and digital game guide for The Sims 4.
