Storybook EP

Note: Before I started with ideas I gathered up previously DISNEY DOES NOT OWN FAIRY TALES only: the princess' gowns, the names Ariel, Belle, Tiana, and of course talking items or animals like: the Lumire,Mrs.Potts, Gus/Jaq. Or names of Sleeping Beauty's three 'aunts': Flora, Fauna and Merryweather, Cinderella's step-family names, and also dwarves' names (the Grimm version had them nameless), and The Blue Fairy (originally Pinocchio story had her as "Fairy With Turquoise Hair" and Jimmy Cricket (the short-lived cricket in the book was nameless) But other cases like Aurora,Briar Rose, Disney don't own those names, they come from the Perrault and Grimm's Sleeping Beauty stories. Same goes for Cinderella, and Snow White. (I can give you a list of Cinderella movies starting from the silent film era and onwards).

Fake death aka, sleep by either apple or spinning wheel (or it could go further and the 'potion' could be put on choc late and oranges too..your free to ask how the later two came to be included)

proper trait (I don't know does for males, if they have a proper trait bow to females?)

long skirts for woman (when they aren't in ballgowns) and I mean ones that hide the ankles. Not being sexist it just up until like the 50s or so..showing even a little bit of ankle was scandalous.
How about for special gown option ((coming from either 1)a NPC fairy godmother or 2) whoever "You" choose to be the godmother)) that turns bag into dirty work clothes at midnight-but they would need to fix the clock in the sims so there would be enough time for Cindy to get to the ball and dance with the prince (it could either be an NPC -or someone you choose-I rather it not be a NPC-since as soon as your female sim marries him he wouldn't be a prince unless they can change it that you move into his place instead

and/or maybe an option so you could choose a) move Prince into your sim's place, b) move into the Prince's castle, or C)random.


royal family bloodline, a bit like the vampire bloodline, but of course restricted to one or 2 families and not as much spawning, but then sims could have a LTW to marry prince charming; marry a member of the royal family.

k the fairy god mother thing should be like a profession, and magic is the new skill that it goes with..

two different types of Red Riding Hood cloaks (the difference is if your sim is a werewolf or not) if s/he is a werewolf the 2nd cloak can 'keep the wolf away'.


A sim life time wish to marry a prince or princess.




Maybe as an 'evil' profession, a sim can choose to become a "Rumpelstiltskin/Sea Witch" kind of person. If you don't quite understand what I mean it means people who are desperate for anything would go and make deals with the Rumpelstiltskin/Ursala kind of witch.

Mermaids vs. Sea witch. A sea witch could offer a mermaid different kind of potions for them to be able to spend time on land, if they have no other option too and for different lenghts of period but the mermaid would have to give something up (like her voice-note, that's important in all TLM adoptions not just Disney's) but need to get something in return for the sea witch..

Also *maybe* if they could get the right from Disney to have Disney related stuff they could have like..a warobe that could take you from the 'modern-day world' to the FTL or there could be a a 'dark curse' for the FTL to take them to the Sims' world. Or a magic hat or magic bean which could take you to Oz, Never, Never land.

And also you don't have to stick with original story..Like for instance you could have a male Cinderella, or a Male Snow White or Sleeping Beauty. You could have like a female Aladdin.. Or you can have "Handsome and the Beast"

Sounds like a nice idea! Would make a interesting Stuff Pack, Would be lovely to have something for the fans who adore story book items. ^^

*facepalm* IF people actually KNEW the freaking different between a EP and a stuff pack. A STUFF PACK DOESN'T included INTERACTIONS. While an EP DOES included interactions!! I have a TON of interactions. 1)careers-either as a FG (fairy godmother) or a Evil Witch or Sorcerer who might or might not curse a prince or princess.

Lifetime wish (not something you would find in a stuff pack) to marry "Royalty" Princesses would be more prone to curses then Princes but there ia a 5-10% change a Prince might be cursed (Frog Prince, Beast from La Belle&the Bete). "Sleeping Potion" is an elixir you could make at a cauldron and then 'apply' somehow to an apple or a spindle. Another Spinning Wheel could MAKE money for your sim.

Wow where did that attitide come from? Just for the record i know well for sure what a Expantion Pack is & What a Stuff Pack is so do not give me a lecture on that thank you very much. I was just being nice & saying that i feel it should be a Stuff Pack rather than a Expantion Pack. I personally wouldn't want this but i am keeping an open mind for people WHO DO.

The hell is your problem?! Why are you overreacting? All she said was that it would be a great stuff pack. Doesn't mean you should rage on her about it. Tone down ma'am. Tone down.

Marry a Prince, eh?
If they added royalty I'd totally go after that adorable Prince Charming anyday. Preferably looking like Eric from The Little Mermaid (probably the fittest Prince in all of Disney).

I think this would be better as a stuff pack not an ep. Maybe a few traits to go with the pack but not as a full ep. I don't see all that would bring as new gameplay, Just sound like a lot of new clothes and objects

@Nick if it was a stuff pack you wouldn't be able to either

1)have spinning wheels which are magical
2)careers as either a fairy, or a 'deal-maker' like Rumple or Ursla
3)you wouldn't get NPCS for either the fairy/deal makers (if you don't want to do create such things yourself)
4)or a magical skill

You wouldn't be able to get the above from a stuff pack. Stuff pack only have STUFF. Well my idea has more then just 'stuff' it has interactions as well.


this idea of my is an EXPANSION on the game.
Expansion packs include have more game-play, interactions and things to do. Stuff packs are collections of new objects, hairstyles, clothing and stuff like that, usually with a specific theme

I think people are saying itd be okay as a stuff pack simply because i dont think a lot of people would want to pay 50$ full price for an ep about fairytales . 20$ for a stuff pack would be more plausible.

A lot of the sims players have been playing for a whole, at least since sims two. So the game has to mature with the fans. A lot of the fans are creeping up on 20 years old +. So most 20+ year olds arent interested in Disney like things.

Ya, It still doesn't seem worth a whole ep. As much of disney/fantasy fan i am i still just don't think this would sell / make a good ep

Fairy tale stuff (less than 20 bucks) is good idea but who knows if it's gonna happen? Sims 2 had those stuff and it was horrible. I am so sure that Fairy Tale expansion pack is not gonna happen.

You wouldn't believe how many requests their have been for Disney EP/Stuff Pack.

Your idea is going more with fantasy not dealing with the occults aka supernatural and making magic.I'm not saying it isnt a good idea and i do like the concept of it. But i feel its better fitted with a stuff pack with lots of fantasy themed items. And i don't think disney would team up with ea to create a themed pack.

I rather to play Makin' magic than Walt disney stuff.

you could turn a sim into a frog both in Sims 1 Making' magic and in the sims 3 Supernatural but the former it was an entire frog while in the latter it was only in the head of a frog You can turn a Sim into a frog in the Storybook EP (I call it story-book EP since you could also have a Frankenstein monster or Dracula vampire and last I checked those two aren't Disney). I only played the originally Sims briefly but there was a spinning wheel which a Sim could sit at and turn thread into gold which could be sold or used in Charms. The Hole in a ground is obviously a reference to Alice in Wonderland's Rabbithole. In the Sims 3 there is references to storybooks. For instance if a fairy um in a sense 'lifts up" a non-fairy sim they get the moodlet "I can Fly"-which to anyone who knows is 100% a reference to Peter Pan. There's also the fact the fairies can give 'gifts' to others. Sleeping Beauty anyone? I can't remember what story it's from but there is a fairytale of a good girl being able to have gems come out of her mouth and a 'rotten' girl having reptiles coming out of her mouth aka "Gold and toads"? Of course there's the magic mirror and poisoned apple-both come from Snow White. Then there's the "Jellybean bush" it's an obvious reference to HP's "Bertie Botts' Every Flavour Bean" One of the potions for alchemy is "Midas' Touch" from King Midas of Greek mythology. Oh and before I forgot if you upgrade the wardobe that came with Supernatural you could 'travel' some place. Sounds Like Narnia chronicles to me.


I never said in the first place that it would be a DISNEY EP. I only said it would be a Fairytale/Storybook EP. Only mention of Disney I had in the first place is the fact Disney does NOT own any of the stories they made into movies.
