Is the sims really going back to it's roots? If so MAKE IT AFFORDABLE

Hi there, one of my 2 biggest problems with the sims, is that expansion packs cost money. And I can't afford to buy them because I'm 15 (we don't have jobs) and I have to ask my parents who think the sims is stupid, to buy it. So if Ea and maxis could make the expansion packs more affordable like $20 or $30. That would be great. Another problem I have with the sims are the bugs and glitches, they always screw up the game and make it unplayable. But Maxis is better than EA so that might fix the issue.

No, i think that they should make the Expansion packs BETTER (If possible, even better than in TS1 and TS2), make MORE Expansion Packs, and get rid of Store premium content. So, if they are really going back to their roots, i prefer that they to live up to the price than beign cheaper.

Making games costs money sonny. Id rather have more expansions that cost more and have more than less expansions that cost less that have less due to budget. Besides, sooner or later, expansions become about 19.00

I'd love to see cheaper expansion pack prices, but that usually means it's not a very good expansion D:
As stated above, if the expansions are better and have more content, I'll totally pay full price. But, if they're smaller expansions with less stuff, you can bet I'm going to wait for a sale/wait for the price to go down/buy it used/pirate it.
I'd like to spend my money on something that's truly worth it, seeing as I don't get an allowance and can't get a job for a while still ._.

Like others said, it won't happen. Cheaper often means less stuff and lesser quality too (get what you pay for sort of thing) and the prices for everything has gone up, so prices being higher now compared to how it once was is to be expected if they want to make a profit.

They will go down in price sooner or later if you don't mind waiting longer. Usually newer stuff cost more.

I'm cheap, too. I usually wait until they're on sale and I always watch a few YouTube videos first. The last time I bought one full price it went on sale for half price less than 36 hours later and I was really, really angry. I put on my Mr. Potato Head angry eyes, steam shot out of my ears and I vowed to never pay full price again.

I'm only 11 so I can't pay for much (my savings = 30p) so I ask my mum & dad to get me stuff but we're getting an extension done on our house (I'm getting a new room!) so they can't afford to "waste" money.
I would like to have cheap expansion packs for TS4 as it won't break the bank.
