Petition for Wheelchairs in the sims 4

Hi there, I really think someone should make a petition to have disabled sims and wheelchairs, in the sims 4. Does anyone else agree? Because it really isn't fair to many people. Like doesn't someone want to create Stephen Hawking maybe? That would be nice. I really think that somebody should make a petition for the sims company to add that, maybe in an expansion pack or something? And I know that many people bring this topic up so why doesn't EA listen to us?

because there are people who believe EA might get a law-suit on their hands. If not for other reasons like "Too much animation" or "disabilities isn't fun" or they "don't want to be reminded of the 'horrors' of daily living".

Not necessarily would people get offended. It's just this is a video game; people tend to 'escape' their real lives with it. Plus the animation for a wheelchair must be a bitch.

Either way i'm good, wheelchair or not but again the game in my eyes isn't meant to be real or relate to real life issues

While i'm all for adding new concepts and ideas, especially ones which can offer a whole new way to play, I don't see wheelchairs being something that could honestly be considered.

How will they animate a wheelchair going up a flight of stairs to get to the upper levels of a lot? How will they deal with things such as athletic skill etc? Then there are animations for wheelchair sims interacting with other sims, hugs, kisses etc.

The simplest solution would be limit these new characters from using stairs over a certain height or interacting with things that would, in the real world, require modifications to be usable, and this will only raise all sorts of issues and backlash over why these things were omitted.

I won't have time to look for it right now, though I'm sure there is a mod which actually keeps your sims 'seated' in a customised wheelchair (though they stand to interact). Something like this made by the community would be a better compromise I feel.
