Sims 4 has stopped working (no CC)

    Hi everyone!

    I have installed the sims 4 a few months ago (after the pool update) and have been playing on and off with problem until today I installed the latest update.. I had heard the update had issues with some custom content but since i have NOT installed any CC so far, I thought all would be okay.. As it turns out.. it's not. I get a "Sims 4 has stopped working" message on the loading screen.

    I had the game installed on my D drive with the programs linked to the proper D drive folders.. could the update have changed the linkeage? I don't really know what to do.. :/

    I'v Had Sims 4 since release Date in UK i have Disk when i installed it all the files go into Document i use Digital copy now off Origin no disk needed plus i have allot of cc no problems with then not working with new updates. Try downloading from Origin and use Digital no disc needed can play sims 4 on any PC. Sounds to me like one the files is in the wrong location of your PC/Laptop
