The Sims 4 has stopped working

    Hi everyone so I'm having a bit of trouble with my Sims 4 game. After playing it for a good few hours a few days ago, it won't let me play the game. The loading screen come up and about into two seconds into the loading screen It stops all together and the error message the Sims 4 has stopped working pops up. I've tried going offline on origin and everything which has been suggested here. I really don't know what's causing the problem as it was working fine when I first bought it.

    that's why I was thinking. My Sims crashed first time after installing cc but was fine once I restarted it(and i have a newish computer too!)

    I had a similar problem right after downloading some new CC, after I deleted it from my mods folder my game was fine again. I hope it's an easy fix :)

    I believe I do but I'm not sure how I can uninstall it without having to go into the game

    Just go to Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods and clear the folder.
