Ain't that nice. Your sim can be "stolen".

I think it's pretty obvious that the person used my sim and only changed haircolor and clothes. There are no changes in name or traits. The person changed his/her description like it's his/hers.

I actually look this morning and just today there were a few people that took my lady gaga and re-uploaded her and they both say they are from them and not me. I know they are mine because they weren't even smart enough to take the #Burntcheese223 out of the description.. they look exactly like mine and they are wearing the same thing... I don't get how it says its from them.

That's what I mean. People just do stuff like that. So yes, I know some of them do this on purpose not by accident.

I don't understand why people would just take someones creations like that. ;-; I took a lot of my favorites off of the gallery until something is done about this issue. Sorry if anyone had anything downloaded from me.
Also I'm sorry to the people who had their creations stolen. Like my sister always says this is why we can't have nice things!
I really hope the gurus do something about it though.

I was trying to explain earlier that there is a glitch with the Gallery where it isn't putting the correct person's name. It has already been reported. I suggest you report this too on http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/bd-p/The-Sims-4 before accusing someone of stealing your creation. Yes, some people do steal but not everyone is stealing the creations of others. You can possibly test if they are stealing your creations by making a comment that you are the original creator. If they delete the comment then you know they are purposely stealing your stuff and then you should report them.

I already have commented and they have already deleted. What is the point in uploading the same sim of someone elses without even changing anything on it. I will accuse them of it because it is obvious that they did it. I understand there is a glitch but they shouldn't be uploading someone else's creations just to get downloads anyway. I mean they were even to lazy to change the description, let alone the clothes on the sim. I am upset because I worked hard on my Aguilera and someone else got the credit. Hers had close to 2000 downloads and mine had 11... Guess who got the credit for my work? Guess who got a bunch of followers? Not me. She had a lot of followers and the only thing on her profile was MY creation that she took and a few other sims that had at the most 3 downloads. I have a right to be mad and I will accuse people of trying to do it again because that is not right.

I think it was blatant stealing. If the original creator somehow accidentally got lost in translation the reupload should have included a mention that the creation was not that of the second uploader.Furthermore, if it was the intention of changing hair and clothes for particular taste, why reupload it in the first place when the original is available for those to tweak as they wish? When djazzie was complimented that was the second opportunity for s/he to come clean and say thanks, but this was not my creation. Hank's look is just too distinctive to be a coincidence and they didn't even bother to change the title. Wow.

I agree this person stole your creation then. You should try to report them and maybe contact EA Customer Service at to see if they can remove the creation from the other account at: http://help.ea.com/en/

I have already reported them and I plan to talk to customer support if I keep seeing it but once i reported it, it disappears from my account so I don't know if it got taken down or if its hiding from me so I cant report it again. If I see it pop up again though I will report it again and talk to ea support but I am not sure they will do anything. It is obviously mine because my ID is tagged in the description exactly like my description is. I think that if people download something of yours and then you take it down, when they go to upload it to the gallery it shows as by them. It has happened with my Aguilera and now my Gaga.

They keep trying to copy my gaga for downloads but mine has 1200 already so I am sure they wont get that high but I just irritates me that they try to get credit for someone elses work. I don't want to download anything that is modified now because I don't know if it is actually there work or not and if its not then I don't think they should get credit for it but unfortunately most people don't care.

A lot of people do care. There is a glitch that has been reported to EA about people's names not appearing or the incorrect name appearing. Not everyone is trying to steal the work of others. The reason EA released the demo is to find issues like this before the game is released. Hopefully this will be fixed before release date.

I know some people are stealing and the best solution is to report the ones that are. Reporting the creations removes them from the Gallery so the person would have to re-upload the creation. EA is pretty good at looking into harassment and cyber stalking which seems to be what this person is doing if they keep uploading their creations as yours.

Burnt- I know this doesn't make it right, but, on the bright side, at least you know you make sims awesome enough for others to want to steal them. I was on your gallery the other day and dang you have a lot of uploads. They're a lot of fun to look at.
