Cuttings not showing up in inventory

So my sim is a level 6 gardener and is able to take cuttings but they don't show up in her inventory. Any ideas what could be causing this or how to fix it? I have a few cc items, hair, skin, lashes

This hasn't happened to me but i haven't taken cuttings for a long time. If you delete the Cache files in the EA folder for Sims 4 this could be the problem i do a cache clean every time before i play sims 4 i have about 115 mods in my game.
The following files are most probably cache files that can be deleted safely and that will help with troubleshooting. Hope this helps.

• localthumbcache.package
• cache –> *.cache (all files ending in cache)
• cachestr –> All content can be deleted
• lotcachedData –> All content can be deleted

you can also try to right click on the sims 4 icon in Origin before you start the game and hit "repair game".....sometimes that helps with things.
