Has anyone had their sims taken off the gallery?

Sorry to hear that. I have only made 3 sims and I did not put them on the Gallery, I have them saved just to My Library, so I can play them when the game is out.
Hope you have them in your My Library. So you can play them.

yeah I had so many in my library that it was slowing down the demo. I think since the demo is out for everyone I will delete all the celebrities that I made for others since they should have them now. I will keep them in the gallery but I wont ever play with them so there is no point in keeping them in my library. Maybe I will just make a copy of the demo folder and then delete them that way they will be there if I ever want them for some reason.

Huh. I've been making celebrities and historical figures just because it's fun to work against photographs (I made Doris Day and Rock Hudson last night) or paintings (Henry VIII, his last wife, and the Mona Lisa). I used to throw those types of things -- with no real resemblance! -- into Sims 3 now and then but not play them; now I wonder if I would, or if it would throw me out game immersion to run into them, and interact with them more vividly, in my town. Maybe I'll save them for Famous-People-Only or era-specific separate gamesaves.

I was thinking of uploading all of mine to the Gallery then downloading them into the game ... until I realized that that would end up including my selfsim, and I don't think I want other people playing with her :/ I guess I'll have to figure out how to copy Sims over without going online. Someone's sure to post that info here!
