New to the forum not new to Sims

Hello

My name is <classified>, but you can just call me Naito. I have been a loyal The Sims™ fan since the original game and Sim City™. I have never left the bandwagon, and I do not intend to anytime soon. I like The Sims™ 4, but I preferred the open world capability of The Sims™ 3, even if it took a monster OS to run smoothly. I also found the CAS sliders easier than this drag morphing. I prefer (as many people do) my games to be as realistic a life simulator as possible. So if you would kindly direct me to the de-censor mods, that would be swell. No, I do not need nude skins, but I do feel like I need the de-censor mod.

I have mixed feelings about an open-world sims game after the huge mess in The Sims 3. While it was a good approach, it was poorly optimized for a wide range of PCs. No one should be compelled to throw a substantial amount of cash into a superb PC if they're only gonna play The Sims 3, that's just my viewpoint on the matter.

I for one actually like the semi-open world in TS4. It's like a step backwards from TS3 for all the right reasons. I do believe I saw somewhere the Gurus mention it's possible to expand pre-existing worlds, meaning there can be more space for residence, venues and other community lots.

Korvaz beat me to the no-mosaic mod I see. Hm,well, I agree that I also liked the Sims 3's open worlds. My computer is amazing thanks to my boyfriend, but I couldn't tell you a thing about the specs myself. XD Sad, sad. I know. I need to get on the ball. But yeah, that being said Sims 3 ran great for a long time. I eventually had every expansion pack, a lot of store content and so much CC/MODS it was overwhelming and I never even used half of it there was so much.. so my game slowed down but it still ran reasonably under the circumstances. Just slower load screens and it was laggy when I opened the map and zoomed back into lots/etc. Just talking about it makes me want to go play in my korean empire. XD

I have to agree with Korvaz, they seem to have taken a step back for very good reasons.
The loading screens in sims 4 are really fast and really not very bothersome at all, I think it's just a case of getting used to it.

If you remember playing the original Sims game, you'll also remember that they had very limited lots.
Through expansions (I think the Unleashed EP added the biggest change) they increased the map so much, the original became only a very small section of it.
Seeing as they've returned to original Sim-things with other stuff (like the baby bassinets) I think worlds will also expand through EP's. Or at the very least, some more worlds will be added.

There's a lot of promise in this game that's for sure.
