Which town were your Sims families in for the most part? Or did you make your own town?? Or did you play in all of them equally?? I usually made my own town from scratch and played in Veronaville. I hope we can make towns from scratch in the Sims 4! I miss all of the old families preloaded into the game like the Capps and Monty's. They were super fun!

Another dream of mine when I was younger (still one I have today) is to make the houses and families that come with the game, I always thought that would be a cool job, and to write their backstories in the description and whatnot!

I played pretty equally although I never really played in strangetown, I think Veronaville was my go to neighborhood.

I used to play more in Pleasantview, rarely went to the other two. But then I made a couple of neighborhoods of my own, so... ;)

Pleasantview was always my second favorite if I was feeling lazy, but I liked the hose designs of Veronaville.

I like Pleasantview the most and Strangetown secondly. For some reason, I didn't feel any attachment to Veronaville.

With these TS3 cities, you don't really care about them as much, nor the game created people. I still remember everyone in TS2.

I agree I miss that about TS2, maybe they will bring that back in TS4.

    Same here!

Yeah, I also miss that about TS2... In a way, it seemed that the preople in TS2 had more "life and ways to act"... In TS3 everyone acts almost the same

Well I played in Veronaville the most, then the other two... Actually, I played them sorta equally, but the top two were Veronaville and Strangetown. Pleasantown was okay, just didn't feel a good vibe there. Like a playing vibe, not any 6th sense type of vibe (haha! XD)

I think that if we had some more relate-able characters in TS4 like we did in TS2, then that would be great! :)

I agree, I wish there was more relatable content in TS3, oh well can only hope for in TS4.

For real. I would love more relatable characters. TS2's characters were memorable and I was disappointed we didn't see some of them like the Pollination Technician, the Specters, and stuff.

Even Morty Goth was even sucky in TS3 and shoot, everyone's been liking him since the original sims. Even he felt out of character and he always didn't marry Bella. Why couldn't EA program him to have the same kids as he had in TS2?

And you are right Annie, they all act the freaking same. It doesn't matter the traits. They will go out of trait anyways. The only time I even been interested in the TS3 sims' stories was before the game came out with Claire Ursine's story and all that...you feel no attachment and dang, did they even care what their characters look like?

In my game, she looks like a hot mess down the line, especially after she transistions to an adult. Close all mis matched, hair all effed up. Geezh.

Yeah what's with how they are dressed I forget which sim but one of them looks ridiculous with her cowboy hat white blouse and skirt.

I know who you are talking about too and I cannot think of her name. EA should had set outfits for each sim or had a system programmed like what color matched with what xD. Now that I think about it maybe EA was focused on making the traits stand out instead of making the characters and focusing on their looks and going with the story of things.

Like the Hart family...that is the biracial family with Dorie and Bebe Hart and the dad xD. Well the story there is Bebe has to live with her crazy parents..I think they were inappropriate and had these bad traits.

Like how the Altos were evil and the daughter was this good girl and how she dealt with that.

They spent too much time on the traits which really did not work out tbh. I love traits and wish they were in TS4 but they need to focus on everything...story, making the traits more real, and how they looked.

I agree, and maybe make it possible to add a couple more traits not just 5.

I don't think I played around much with the towns that came with the game. I preferred trying to make my own. Although I do believe I played in Strangetown and Plesantview more than Veronaville. It would be nice if in sims4 there were more involved stories like then.

Creating my own town was always fun, I never played much in Strangetown but I kind of want to now.

You should, if you still have the sims2 to play. I don't know where it is now, but there was at least one or two really good sims2 stories based on a character in sims2 that someone made up. I liked playing the Broke family, and the alien guy who used to be a Pollinator from the story-line.

But yes, creating one was great. It was time consuming to build all the stuff oneself, and then add in your own sims, maybe even making a story if one was going to package it for others to play... I never got that far, but it was fun to try.

What I didn't like was that it was slightly difficult to make things match if you were to create your own household.
