Hey all, glad to be here! I have been playing the Sims since the very first release and still cannot get enough of it.

I'm a flight attendant and spend a lot of time on call and in strange cities. The Sims is my comfort zone and helps me relax after a long day of demands. I love to travel on my time off and see the world, and I always take my Sims with me!

Of course, a big pusher for the Sims 4 seems to be how intimate we will be able to get with our Sims. This is very exciting and has me hoping it will really help develop very unique personalities for each and every Sim.

I really have to say I am most excited that Maxis wants input from all of us to actually develop the game and use our diverse ideas from all different experiences and backgrounds!

My only concern is how demanding the game will be on minimum requirements for our computers. I have no plans to purchase a new machine anytime soon, so I may have to wait to join in the Sims 4 fun until I'm ready to invest in a new one. I know this is probably a concern for quite a few people. But I think the wait will be worth it!

It was an exciting addition! However, I wish it would have given us more freedom to explore the destinations. I would have loved to have seen experiences for my Sims that are on par with the things I always do when traveling abroad. Perhaps this can be implemented in an EP for the Sims 4!

Personally I wish you could buy a vacation home first before doing all the quests, once I was done with the quests to get to visa level three there wasn't much else to do.

Very true! If you think about it, part of the reason someone gets a vacation home is to be able to experience more of the destination! No one wants to live somewhere that it's always the same-old, same-old.

It would be cool if once you bought the house there were more things or more levels, or it would be really neat if other players could submit their own quests (after they were approved of coarse.) Portal 2 I think does this with maps.

Great ideas! From the sounds of it, Maxis and EA will be listening to these types of suggestions! Keep your fingers crossed!

Hey there and WELCOME ABOARD!
I am super excited for TS4 and I was a little disapointed with WA myself. I felt like I could only get 1 or 2 complete quests done before my 3 days were up.
I hope that they have something like BV (even though I have never played it) for the vacations! XD
I know that our sims can RANDOMLY be selected to go on trips so yeah, hopefully there will be something for the WHOLE family!

I have a feeling they will elaborate on taking trips. Maybe not in the base game, but there is bound to be an expansion!
