Sims 4 has stopped working error, and any possible fixes?

    I'll preface this by saying that I've checked my specs. I play on a laptop most of the time and everything checks out, but even when I play on my boyfriends pc that he built, I get the same error. I don't play with any mods. It varies from an hour into play to 4 hours but it happens 9/10 times that I play. Any help?
