Unlockable Outfits in The Sims 4 & Store ?_!

Hello everyone ! I have two quick questions, any can answer
The first one; Does TS4 have the option to eventually unlock more outfits ? I don't think I've seen any grayed-out outfits with a lock on them in CAS.
Second question; will TS4 eventually have it's own store to buy objects and outfits with sim points or something of the like, like TS3 still has ? Or will we have to wait for EPs and SPs ?

I know that a lot of amazing creative people have already created mods and recolors of outfits already in CAS, but this will not be an option I will be taking. Only because CC has corrupted both PC and game in the past The Sims...

To answer your first question, there may be hidden outfits that we can't unlock (career-specific, look at Astronaut for example) unless somebody provide mods for that.

Second question, I'm almost positive there will be a store for TS4 and function more or less the same as TS3's, with the in-game store being a thing as well. We won't start seeing TS4 store content until next month, give or take.

I'm guilty for using custom content clothing already! I have all of my downloads indexed though just in case something bad happens, I can go back and check my index and rule out the culprit. I can understand why you're not interested in using custom content, it screwed me over plenty of times.

I have unlocked some outfits from fulfilling certain career tiers. And even some from emotional types of sims I do believe.

I am interested in CC it's just in the past I have downloaded way too much and it messed up my game preformance. Already without cc my game crashes any way due to low specs I guess.

There's a lot of reasons that cause crashes, it's not always poor hardware quality! You shouldn't have an issue with hardware running TS4 if you could already run TS3

That is the thing, I had to keep uninstalling and reinstalling TS3. So I have decided to just have TS4 on my Laptop due to running out of memory space. Sometime in future I will buy better PC

You play TS4 in offline mode on Origin, right? I don't have the greatest PC in the world, so whenever I play TS4 with Origin open I'd get some annoying freezes frequently.

So the career outfits to unlock is not shown in actual CAS to be unlocked ? You just get a notification saying that you unlocked a specific outfit ?

I play with TS4 origin online, though my game goes into the "not responding" mode in the task program runner. Or my whole PC just shuts off completely loosing game progress...

Try running TS4 in "Offline Mode"

- Open the Origin interface and click "Origin", click "Go Offline" and give TS4 another go. It's something with Origin's online features that get in the way of gameplay for some reason...

Okay I'll try that and see what happens. Currently at this moment my game seems to be running decently. Thank you Korvaz for your helpful tips
