What kind of expansion packs should there be for the Sims 4?

What is a hobo expansion?

Maybe some sort of superhero expansion would be cool. Turn your sim into a superhero and make him/her fight crime but keep their identity secret

That would be pretty cool kind of playing off TS3 Supernatural.

I'd like to have World Adventures back! But with different places..

Like, instead of China, they make the old Japan, with all the geisha's and culture... Egypt is tough to be pulled apart, it's really great! And instead of France, Italy! Mainly Rome... Such history and mysteries surrounding it *O* If they can make the pyramids and sphinx, it wouldn't be hard to make St. Peter's square as well as St. Peter's Basilica

That is my concern Lame Cake, I bought Simcity 5 and I never played any of the Simcity games before. I haven't played it since patch 2.0.

I've thought about getting it because I'm so eager to play but I don't really have the money especially to buy a sketchy game.

Well I would like (and expect) them to do something like Seasons and Pets, probably University to, as they are a big part of the sims experience since The Sims 2. But I would also like something new and creative. It would be boring if it was just The Sims 3 with better graphics....

I'd like to see seasons be part of the base game instead of an EP, but I know that's probably just wishful thinking. I'd be thrilled if they would create a career pack. There are tons of different types of careers in the real world, so it'd be awesome if they would bring that into the sims.

That's why I really liked that they did Island Paradise, because it is something that hasn't been done in Sims before.

I'd definitely want them to keep Seasons and University and I have a few suggestions...

• Seasons - I'd like to be able to have more weather control than "on" and "off". So instead of rain vs. no rain you would be able to choose the frequency and say have it rain 3 out of 7 days, for example. I just know I get frustrated when it rains or snows for an entire season.
• University - I wish a degree didn't take so long! It takes me two weeks sometimes to get them graduated and although I LOVE University I get bored. Mostly because I only want Sims to take 6 classes per semester so they can strive for perfect grades. I had a sime get a B the other day and I was depressed for hours. LOL (ok, maybe the adjustment needs to be me and not the game)
• In Pets, they need an aspiration that doesn't involve hoarding of pets. They're almost all about collecting pets which is weird to me. Why can't they have a vet (job) with an office or who does home visits, a marine biologist (job) who works at the science facility or a zookeeper (profession) and a new venue to come with the game.

Personally, I'd like to have things like seasons, university, pet's and business in base game. I think we bought enough expansions packs like that, It's time for EA and Maxis to be more creative. If they have to make some expansions like late night or world adventures then they should mix them up in one expansion, this way they'll got some money from it but still they will use their time to REALLY work on some never seen before expansions packs.
I think nobody gonna be royaly pissed if they give again as a separate expansion packs ''into the future'', ''supernatural'' or ''island paradise''...but still they should make more new stuff. I liked the idea of superhero expansion pack, that would be awsome. Also, they could do something like movie making expansion pack with lot's of new sims interactions, clothes , aspirations, objects and accordingly -divided new world. What else... 18+ expansion pack with mafia, murders and more scary fantasy/sci-fi content and interactions, sometimes when I want to make a sim movie I do really miss this things in my game...but maybe it's just me and my darker sideXD imao...
What would you think about expansion pack like the sims 4 cosmos , where our sims are searching for other inhabited planets and meet new races of sims in universe and some are ready for interracial exchange and some are after taking over our's sims realm??^^

This site is really beating the dead horse on putting seasons and other repeated expansions into the base game, as nice as that would be and EA knows we want it, they wont because they will always chose money over customer satisfaction.

Well, who knows... after ''winning'' the title of the worst company EA may want to consider their options more carefully. Lately they repeating themselves on and on that they're listening to the sims fans. So maybe there will be a change in expansions packs for better.

Hopefully, I would be shockingly surprised. I'm sure they listen with a grain of salt: "Yes we could give them exactly what we want and make a large profit and satisfy lots of customers, however if we do this we can milk some more of the cash cow and make a double profit and disappoint over half of out customers."
