What're your thoughts on Island Paradise?

What are your thoughts on Island Paradise? It personally sounds pretty awesome to me- though, I really do like sea life. But, mermaids and diving underwater- that's pretty cool. I wonder if there will be any ocean-related careers.. :huh:

I'm pretty excited about it. A lot of TS3 expansions were repeats, but this one is completely new and original. I was unsure at first about the whole house boat thing but I think it would be pretty cool, I can see my retired sims using it or my young and adventurous sims. Also the fact that you can run your own resort reminds me a tiny bit of TS2 Open for Buisness, and I miss that expansion.

Probably they'll bring back the one from TS2 University... Oceanography?

Yes it would. In my opinion, careers in TS2 were the best, specially those that came with Uni

I don't have Sims 2, so I know I'm missing out on a lot. When I get my own computer, I'm definitely putting TS2 on there along with my Sims 3 games. And Sims 4, of course ^-^

Hehe, you'll feel a huge difference between TS2 and TS3... In sims 2 you'll have to pass through a loading screen every time you leave your house to go somewhere xD

That doesn't sound too horrible. I really love Sims 2 graphics though. I've watched plenty of LPs on youtube and the graphics just appeal to me so very much o_o

Doesn't sound horrible unless you have all the EP's and SP's and a bunch of CC to go along xD

But you should try it, seriously. Besides everything, it was still a great game, specially if you like building houses/stores

Yeah, it's in a whole different level from Sims 2, but in S2 I always have the feeling that you can do so much more... Don't know why exactly

I agree, this expansion truly sounds original.

I really love the house on water part... Hope they had some trees in big vases, or else there wont by a garden there... And I do love my gardens...

Maybe you could have a rooftop garden, that would be cool.

Well I mean an actual garden when things grow, if that was something new that came with IP.

Oh... Well, if we can place dirt over there, it would be great

I imagine it would be similar to how TS2 greenhouses worked but without the house, just the plots of dirt.
